PCDC's English Country Dance weekend also includes a Friday dance (separate admission) and a Sunday bunch (donations accepted).

The Saturday afternoon workshop will include a review of most of the Ball dances and styling suggestions for greater dancing pleasure. We will spend time on those dances that are a bit more challenging, so that in the evening more time can be spent dancing rather than learning. We strongly advise attendance at the workshop - plus it is fun.

For the Ball, the band will play waltzes from 7:00pm to 7:30pm as a prelude for the evening. The Ball will begin promptly at 7:30pm. Note that there is very limited room for changing clothing at the Oaks Park Pavilion, so please plan accordingly. We will dance until about 11:00pm with an intermission to socialize with new and old friends and to refresh ourselves with a little food and drink.

Pre-registration is required. There are also pre-Ball workshops in September or October to learn the dances.
