7pm: All-levels Zouk Lesson
Topic: Brazilian Zouk.
Zouk is another dance done to R&B music. Like WCS the dance can shift with new music trends, and is done to R&B, Pop, Hip Hop, and Contemporary music. This trendy dance shares elements with Night Club 2 Step, Hustle, WCS, Salsa, and Graystone to name a few. Zouk is an easy to learn slotted two step dance. It uses a syncopated Rumba timing in both progressive and side ways basic patterns. The partners are often moving in opposition, and you can incorporate many types of turn sequences. Brenda will get you flowing with several foundational patterns.
